Here below is the message that kulula.com sent to me. Honestly, none of the BIG FLIGHT BRANDS ever sent me any reminders similar to the one below. IT SURPRISED ME! 

Read the text "the crew of MN121 can't wait to welcome you on board and will do their best to make your flight as comfy as possible. " Really? I thought to myself? they really wait for me???  IT SURPRISED ME!

Naturally, those are all positive surprises that contribute a great deal to the kulula.com BRAND. 

In one of my latest flight to Cape Town, I have complained about kulula.com and their bad customer service. As a result they contacted me and said that they credited my for my last flight!!! They said that the credit is to be found on my kulula.com account. So, when I booked 2 flights to Cape Town (for me and my wife) I WAS SO SURPRISED to find out that I don't have to pay anything as kulula.com credited me for 2 TICKETS instead of just one!!!!   IT REALLY SURPRISED ME! 

Today we had dinner in an Italian Restaurant...They surprised us and brought FREE additional starters that we didn't order...IT SURPRISED ME! 

All of those surprises are ENGRAVED to our sub-conscience and each time that we think about  those (surprising) BRANDS, we are flooded with good feelings and tend to AUTOMATICALLY (and without to even think about it) we choose those "surprising brands" over any boring competition.....not surprising outcome...isn't it? 

You need to come up with a "surprising strategy"...or risk being forgotten!!!

Why bother about things that never happen

Here is an interesting article about wasting time on things that never happen - read here 

Instead, why not focus on things that have a greater potential to happen? 

Now, in the end of November, just before starting the new year, we tend to make big promises about: new declarations, new BIG GOALS (that will never happen) etc....Instead, let's be REALISTIC and stop wasting time, energy and other resources and let's stay with what we can guarantee that will happen AND DO JUST THAT.

Ignore all the "noise" that tries to confuse you and do just ONE THING: meaning STICK TO the things that will definitely happen, work on those ones, improve on those ones and leave all the rest alone...in any case, it will not happen!!! So, why bother about it?!?!?!

A legacy of a REAL BRAND

Regardless to the various economy crisis’s that the USA (and most of the western countries) suffered from, it is a wonder to see the JEEP BRAND developing in spite of the economy general slowdown.

This wouldn’t be possible without a fantastic global customer (loyalty) clubs and a vibrant brand community.    

The BRAND is the center of its community and the community needs this center “plaza” to gather around, exchange experiences and share experiences.  

That is the true role a a true brand and you shouldn’t forget this critical insight. if you want to become a BRAND, you MUST build a community. 

Next month we have the first community gathering in the terrace of the DR BAUMANN INSTITUT. About 50 of the DR BAUMANN INSTITUT community members will gather to a (brand) cultural evening, educational and entertaining content will be shared. Photos, videos , fashion, nutrition, healthy lifestyle and more... 

More gatherings will follow, more content will be shared and the community will start “sprouting” its own life and gather momentum of growth. This is the way to go!
