In the previous POST ( see here) we discussed the marketing puzzle and the 5 categories of the human needs as well as the physical or physiological needs . see bellow.
In this post we will look at he abstract needs
Human problems are in 5 categories:
- Physical
- Psychological
- Interactive
- Social
- Abstract
So, ABSTRACT means exactly ABSTRACT or in other words, none of the above very well defined needs are ABSTRACT but rather specific. Hence, Abstract Need is something that you did not think about until this Abstract Need becomes totally alive and relevant.
For example:
- You didn't feel hungry but suddenly something happened and you feel an urge to eat. This "suddenly happened" can be connected to a stimulation to one or more of all the 5 senses. A smell of very tasty food is in the air and now your hunger is active and needs to be satisfied.
- You did not know that you can cure diabetes via strength and or cardio training. You read an article about it in the daily newspaper. Now you "got the idea " to register to the gym and replace your medication with exercise.
- You did not know that you reverse your biological age via nutrition and or via NAD+ booster supplement. A friend shared a video about it with you and you find yourself driving to the next pharmacy or health shoot get this wonder.
- You were watching a movie and got inspired to do something radically different with your life. Change your career or move to another country.
Abstract means that you were NOT AWARE to a NEED and suddenly you became AWARE. You and your business are fully responsible to WAKE UP customers and or potential customers. Wake them up and make them AWARE to something that they didn't think is possible and now YOU CAN HELP THEM ACHIEVE that thing.
You and your business must INSTALL AWARENESS , INSTALL NEW IDEAS in the brain of customers and or potential customers.

In the ,meantime, start writing down all the ideas that IF YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL HAVE they will choose to buy your product and or services. Don't stop until you finish! Repeat this activity every day for at least 30 minutes each day and inform your community about it each day via all sort of communication channels including advertisement and all social media platforms.
